There are quite a large variety of garden structures, in all sorts of materials and sizes. We have all seen those 'Home and Garden' photo spreads where the outdoor space is filled with fountains, arbors, statuary and concealed lighting, and while most of us don't have the space or the money for the complete picture, many of us have some elements that brighten up our garden.
Bird houses and bird baths are very popular and most of us have some sort of garden shed for tools. Some have a greenhouse and arbors and trellis are quite common. Not so common is garden lighting, concealed or not (and solar or not!) large fountains and exotic statuary although ponds or a 'water feature' seems to be more common. But even items like garden seats or parallel beams that you train your Wisteria on are really garden structures, not just the ornate and expensive. Bird tables, or porch swings or a raised deck or a set of wind chimes or a large Japanese gong or a mirror or....well, you get the idea and the wide range of items this category encompasses.
