Ornamental Grass In The Garden

Grasses Add Structure To Your Garden Beds

The use of Ornamental Grass in the home garden seems to have grown from the Prairie Landscape idea, and has been developed in more recent years to a major garden feature.

Decorative grasses are available in all shapes and sizes: from the gigantic Pampas Grass with its attractive feathery plumes to the small festucas with their fine silvery-blue foliage. They make a graet contrast to foliage plants.

Any garden will have a spot available that is suitable for grasses!

Ornamental Grass

Ideal for the 'plant and forget' garden, grasses come in such a variety of textures, colors and shapes that designing a space with texture varieties is made so much easier.

Grass also has the advantage of year long presence in most climatic areas, and often look wonderful with frost and snow. Swayed by the wind and often with color changes that match the seasons, grasses built into any garden design will add a special feeling of movement and texture.
